Welcome to Spend Pulse. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This
privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Data Collection
We collect the following minimal data to provide our service:
- Identity Data: Name and email address (for account creation).
- Financial Data: Expenses, budgets, and categories you explicitly enter.
- Usage Data: Anonymous crash reports and performance metrics (via Firebase) to
improve stability.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firestore). We use industry-standard encryption in
transit and at rest. We never sell your data to third parties.
4. Account Deletion
You can delete your account instantly from within the app settings (Profile > Delete Account). When you delete your account:
- Your profile and credentials are permanently erased.
- Groups you own are completely deleted along with all associated data.
- Groups where you are a member: Your personal information is removed, and your
financial contributions are anonymized to preserve the group's shared history for other members.
